I dichro combined some red into my multiline argon to produce a white light laser.

Wow their sweeeeeettt ! Where did you get the argon, I love argons they are such a nice colour especially if its multiline and you split the different wavelengths.

Sadly the Argon is not mine, I am borrowing it off a good friend. It was bought off ebay for a great price. usually a good working Argon complete with power supply can range from $500-$2000, but better deals can be found, you just have to be patient.

The laser is a Spectra Physics 162A Multiline argon. It peaks at around 40mw at 10Amps current. It lases in 5 main lines that can be split using diffraction gratings or Dichros

Lase lines are 457nm, 476nm, 488nm, 496.5 nm and 514nm giving the combined beam a lovely 'Cyan' colour.

Here is a picture of the lines split using a diffraction source.
