This is the exact one I used. You can easily make two drivers out of this, if not three (If your really tight). I'll post a diagram in a little while exactly how I routed them. http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...&cp=2032058.2032230.2032265&parentPage=family

I use a similar driver without resistance regulation, with a resistance of 29 ohm. I suggest to insert another electrolytic capacitor in parallel before the LM317, of a capacitance bigger than the other capacitor(for example, 47 uF).
If you use the laser with AC line adaptors, you should add another 2 polyester capacitors(one before and one after the regulator) of 100 nF to prevent oscillation of the LM317.
I did not inserted these on my DPSS, so every time I use an adaptor I obtain a pulsed green at 50 Hz .
I take this information from the original datasheet of National LM317

Scribin, thanks for your input. I will defiantly go that route when I build my blu-ray burner. I think you are the only one I met that has built a DPSS mostly from scratch! your the man.
