Well, the title says it all?
Have you tried them? If so, did you like them?
I recently tried some, and now i simply LOVE them....

They are one of my favorite snacks. I cannot sit down with the whole bag in front of me. I have to place some into a bowl. Otherwise I will finish the bag :-[

Peace,
dave

Pork rinds have got to be the nastiest crap I've ever eaten. All I taste is grease...
Are you in the UK?
They make them differently there.

Nope ;) I'm in Canada, I picked up a pack when I was driving through Minnesota. IMO, Pork rinds=Lard fried in more lard...

Were they flavored?

Well, I tried them about 8 years ago. They were gross. I haven't really seen them for years, because nobody eats them around here.

Pssh...
Don't be dissin' on ma pork rinds >:( :P

Pork rinds are delicious.

There are some weird pig products out there (pickled pigs feet come to mind), but hog bark is a good snack food. Not really as good as good-ol' Lexington-style smoked pork shoulder, but a great replacement for potato chips.

Nope, I live in Canada, not much call for them here I'm afraid.

I take it they're deep fried pig skin? Sounds vaguely appealing though, since I'm a huge bacon fan and I love deep fried things... I've been known to bake chicken skins till they're crispy, season them, and eat them as-is, maybe that's similar.

Yep, that IS pretty similar.
They have them in Mexico, or so i've heard...

Pork rinds are good. Cracklin's are the ultra in pig goodness.
Pork rinds have the fat fried out and are kind of fluffy, cracklins are deep fried pig skins with the fat and the occasional hair left on.
Every year I go to Louisiana for Thanksgiving and make a special trip to a place in Breau Bridges La., called Poche's.  And yes, the cracklins are worth the eleven hour drive.  They go great with beer, crawfish, shrimp and sauage gumbo. Did I mention the beer part ?    CMD ;D
