Anyone know what's up with Tinker Lasers?

The tracking remains the same: "Shipment information received" When I had my call with DHL they told me the tracking number is valid and the address on the label belongs actually to me.

The seller told me now that he'll go today to DHL to figure out the issue. If I don't get an update by 6pm (probably his timezone) he'll issue a full refund. I really hope I get either the pointers or a refund. If I get a refund, it's time to make a order at one of you guys. :) @Ricker @loreadarkshade & @Z80 Lasers
Then I'll have to ask a few questions, like if anyone of you can use DHL Express (I know, most of US shops uses USPS), since they cooperate with our customs and I don't have to open up the parcel in front of a custom worker - very important.

That Amak87 issue is also a pretty sad thing, did the victim get a refund?

Thread '7W+ Survival Laser S4X Host w/NUBM44 diode and 4.5A SXD Tutorial'

As promised, this is a tutorial on how to use the new Survival Laser S4X host in a build with the NUBM44 diode and Lazeerer's SXD rectangular driver set at 4.5A. This driver requires heatsinking and will be used with our new driver heat sink pill in this build.

It seems that the seller did drop my parcel yesterday or it was picked up yesterday. It's on its way to me. I should feel happy and yes I kinda do. I'm still worried Hope it contains actually my pointers and not... just some stones.
I'll keep you updated. :)

Thats all LUD needs now, how to build a laser and a 7W+ unit to boot. Your taking satisfaction in LUD suffering only because you want to post something STUPID and be heard.

I believe you bought some yellows and other low powered lasers.
The yellow lasers are DPSS and won't work well when its cold out, they just don't like the cold.. I'm not sure how much customs knows but if its cold in the warehouse and they do open the box to try the lasers they will be dim or dimmer if they are all DPSS.
In a warm room in your house they will be brighter..

I hope customs won't even open it.
The seller did declare the parcel's content as "LED sample module" or something like this.

If there's an idiot here, it's only you!!!!!!!!! , where do you read "UED build a 7W+ laser"? I showed him the guide made by Gary in 2015, the one I found yesterday and the one I published, I didn't write or recommend UED to build a 7W+, it was just to show him and understand how to assemble a pointer piece by piece, we don't even consider the diode, it can also be 100mw or 1mw.., I don't feel any satisfaction, why should I feel any eh? explain to me, if I was the only one to help him with his shipment, now I read that everything seems ok and that the package is going in its direction.. let's hope for the best, customs permitting, and as UED said, let's hope that inside there are really the pointers he purchased and not something else.. I'm not surprised by anything else

LUD is getting a yellow laser and maby more DPSS.
A DPSS laser bare comes in a module form, no pill box and driver attached and certainly no huge heatsink.
You will say anything to be heard:rolleyes: I think your new username should be "IDIOT".

Just to mention and its very important..
The majority or all of DPSS lasers are postive ground. Meaning the positive end of the batteries go to the back of the laser, not to the front.
If you put the batteriess in backwords it will kill the laser and it won't recover..
Make sure you message TinkerLasers and ask how the batteries go in your lasers.

And with this we're up to 3... now that's enough! I was just helping UED with his shipment, apparently it's on its way to his home, I don't give a shit if he bought this type of laser or that other one, assuming he doesn't get a scam package, it's still on its way and only the Chinese guy who prepared the package knows what's inside! I have my lasers, both battery-powered and mains-powered, you've seen them, and I won't buy any more because they don't appeal to me that much, I turn them on once in a while... you have to understand one thing, 99% of the time lasers are a whim and nothing more, without taking passive blindness into account, so personally, it doesn't concern me...
You're the ones who spend money buying lasers up to their assholes, you're the ones who get screwed out of money and scammed by the first idiot who comes along, all friends and all enemies... a word to the wise!
