Anyone ever work with the NECSEL 10 watt 520nm before??

I'm seeing these 10 watt NECSEL heads, but no specs on powering them, has anyone here ever made a build with these 10 watt heads?? Thanks.

1500.00 is too much, also I hear they need a lot of active cooling and can be difficult to work with although I don't have any.

$1500 is too much for 5x 10W 520s...? Seems pretty reasonable to me.

I occasionally see single heads. I'm sure if I'm patient, I'll find a diode source eventually. Right now, I'm just curious if anyone has had to build a supply for one yet.

They have a used one on eBay for $200.00. It says you can make an offer. I haven't had one of these before, so I don't know that much about these particular ones. I wonder if that 10 watt rating is real, or just a rating they use for all their heads.

I have never seen or heard of this laser before ...how are they used?
I googled-- and saw
LOTs of 10W 450 engravers..some very inexpensive IMO
parts and complete engravers.

So what if I have to mount it to a peltier junction or build a liquid cooling system, so what if I have to mount it inside an old car amp chassis with massive aluminum fins, 10 watts of the most visible wavelength would mean being able to write text in clouds or in the smoke of fireworks. Right now students are writing messages on buildings with 7 watts of blue, 10 watts of green would blow that away. This thing would be impressive in fog. Use a diffraction grating and decorate a whole mountain. This diode haunts my thoughts......

I expect we will see more powerful and likely more efficient 520's or 525's and maybe 530nm will be next all in our favorite package, they ( 9mm ) are easy to work with, but 10w is very attractive, I found a single NECSEL 520 for 200.00 but it's used, I would be interested in knowing what it takes to make that work and what the beam/divergence is like, if it's not too bad maybe a group buy on those 5 new NECSEL units ?

Here's some other stuff from them, lot of info on this site, looks like that module is made up from 20-24 emitters and makes a lot of waste heat, but it's the multiple emitters that may be the biggest issue.....if it can be fiber coupled which I think it can, then maybe we could collimate from the fiber output, I really would like to see some bigger single emitters even multi mode.
