Anybody use this driver?






I've seen those but never tried them before. The title makes it sound like a boost driver but the description makes it sound like a linear. And like you said it says constant voltage not current.
Id just reccomend your buyer to choose a different driver. There are smaller less expensive ones that we know more about then that one. I've contacted the eBay seller for you so Ill wait and see what he says also. :beer:

Ok well then I guess he needs a test load or I'll wait on the sellers response :p. It looks like it has a voltage regulating ic aswell though but I'm not sure but it looks and sounds like a linear.

There's no inductor on that board, so it's not a boost driver.

That was the fist thing I noted to him. Damn sketchy sellers. I see he sold 26. I wonder how may of my poor little diodes went to heaven with those.:yabbmad:
