Any knife fans in here, specifically OTFs?

Just curious, I've always had a thing for them, OTFs really, and more a crush or fancy.
I've had a few switchblades over the years and a cheap stiletto years ago but I recently picked up a Mago 9" & 4.75" mini OTF. Definitely cheap but decent quality.
If I had the surplus cash to spend I'd buy a Piranha Excalibur or a G&G Deadlock. Too much though to justify something that's more or less a toy. Shoot, it doesn't even burn anything!

So any who, the Mago 9" lever is easy enough to open, but hard to close w/o giving my thumb some assistance. I've taken it apart and looked at the spring and was thinking of trying to replace it with a softer rate spring. I've looked up and found medical supply springs at reasonable prices but need to figure out the rate of the spring in the knife to be sure I'm getting a softer replacement.

Here's a link to the 9" I got, although out of stock now but all in all decent for the price and nice looking knife.

I have always thought those classic Italian Stilletto knives look really sweet. Would love to have one, but sadly anything remotely fun or interesting is banned and illegal here so I can't.

My collection is not very fancy, I beat up and throw away the ones that aren't well built enough to stay tight in my ( stab and twist ) test into a block of wood, I mostly keep Kershaws, CRKT, ABKT and recently I discovered OERLA, I like D2 steel or better and I use my knives but keep them razor sharp, I like 2500 grit auto-body sandpaper wrapped around a block to put a fine edge on and boy does it ever. I'm really a fan of fixed blade knives but folders are convenient. Here's just a few that held up.

These Kershaw speedbump knives are surprisingly well made, spring assisted opening and have a unique lock utelizing a spring loaded stud......normally I remove the thumb studs when the blade has a flicker hump which I much prefer, probably why I like Kershaw, anyway I liked it enough to buy a 2nd ( you need one for each hand, lol ) but now their discontinued so people are asking as much as 200.00+ for them, I paid 50 bucks for each.

I'm checking out the Microtech OTF's.... Are the glass breakers removable or does that hold the clip on? I can see that glass breaker poking into me the way I carry.
I’ve never tried to take mine off. I’ve carried it in my pocket with the clip hundreds of times and it’s never snagged even a little

I love Kershaw knives, but the ones I have don’t have blades that look as nice as yours :-) I still carry the first one I bought a number of years ago with a serrated blade

I have been known to appreciate a good knife!😉The spinner knife is my edc because I can get fidgety.I had the mini microtech engraved with some words of wisdom that have definitely helped me in this hobby.
