Another Step Motors L.Show - Video

Hi folks!

I did a simple Lasershow with Step Motors (from DVD/CD) and Audio Amplifier (tda2030)

very simple and cool to play with

I´m planning put a Arduino with touchscreen (from a ooold palm pilot - do you remember? lol ) and make some nice stuff - nothing expensive. I know that I cant draw nothing precise beyond lissajous curve, but still great for me.

I would like to hear some advice from experts to know what else I can do...

If you can vary the speed of one or both of the motors you can create different patterns.

It looks like a projection of a 3D curved object thats rotating, i hope that made sense

Yep. diferents frequences ans phases + volume in each channel, do diferents daws, the most of all are variations of lissajous curves (google/wiki it)

Some patterns give us the illusion of 3d curves rotating. hehehehe that's cool!
