Ambitious Future Plan

Had a rather ambitious plan for the future for some time now, could possibly be a reality.

The plan is to buy a warehouse somewhere and decorate it with black walls ect. Then right at the front have a stage area, and removable seats in the warehouse (which eventualy when its decorated it will looks like a hall). With that I could start off buying some powerful speakers and spend a few grand on laser projectors, then start advertising in news papers as a club/laser show site.

Once people start turning up and I start getting more money I can upgrade to better lasers ect. Basically I would own my own night club apart from it specializes in lasers. Even laser meets could be held there.

haha thats a great idea! considering im a dj, u can guess ive already thought about that, but in reality for me thats just a distant dream.
i love the idea of holdin laser meets there would be awesome, hope it works out for u.

Enfield, right next to Essex and right on the border of north London. Its just a future plan for now but hopefully it will be a reality.

One thing that might be a snag is the legal aspect. I dunno how it works across the pond, but here in the US you'd be crushed by a sea of red tape to do something like that.

Haha yeah sure. As I say though I probably wont even plan on opening it for real until im around 19+.

For now I will be putting on small shows at firework displays and other events using my kit from Chinese dept. store that I should get very soon.

I am currently in college training in art and design and will be moving onto graphic design next year and I also have a part time job. I actually just worked the whole week right through half term.

wow that would be awesome! i wish i could do that here in aus! anyone wanna pitch in?? I am a semi dj, but mostly lighting tech, but i think you would want abit more than just lasers in there, maybe a few washes and definately a hazer! The washes will provide a nice flood of colour, and they look awesome on walls and such!

oh and this is not the first idea to convert a warehouse to a club, i have seen it done, and it turned out great!
