looked at there site, and they seem to have some interesting hobbiest projects. I am looking more at the high voltage and misc stuff, not the lasers. anyone had any experiences with them?

Many years ago... when it was still legal in Canada... I bought a few
Stun Gun kits... (can't get them any more... :'()
It was mainly hobbyist jobber quality builds... but they do work quite well... 8-)

I bought a tesla coil kit from them.  Overall the quality is pretty good, but some of their stuff is a bit overpriced.

Yup it seems they do come through with their products although prices aren't very good

5 years ago or so I bought their 'lie detector kit'. For 20$ I got the equivilent to a DIY verson of the board game 'operation', was not impressed. >:(

I expected a device that detected extra salt on the skin etc, and got a empty board that required placement and soldering of the components, with the 'detector' aspect being two pieces of wire, one in a loop and the other straight. The 'nervous' nelly to be tested would be lying I guess if they couldnt pass the loop over the straight piece of wire without touching the sides and the immediate loud buzzer.... :-?

Moral of the story.. While they do have some cool stuff, be careful while browsing the 'misc' catagories ;)

Now that I have an excellent teacher ;) ;), and am having a hell of a time designing my own boards etc.  I take it as it was, just another learning experiance:)

Jerry, have you been  interrogating  the locals again? ;D :-?
