I'm just listing wavelengths you can get in pointers/modules. 577 nm seems to be only available as a medical device. Also the names are not necessarily their actual colors but what they go by when listed in stores and such.

That too. Its as close to pure yellow as were going to get in pointers/modules right now.

But...But...

What about These:

556nm
808nm
1064nm

Could only think of these for now :)

i am not criticizing you blarg, more so HD5830Gamer for being nitpicky about his perception of colors. i HIGHLY doubt he has seen 577nm personally. ill try to keep of the neg rep button...

ok i must say, 808nm is called "near IR" aswell as 1064 you could call it "far IR" if it were a CO2 @ 10664nm. 3390nm is called mid IR aswell...

Some day Im going to make modules of all the visible wavelengths and make a laser rainbow.

Yeah I know you can find pictures of IR online but cameras show it as a whitish-purple so I don't want confusion with 405nm.

Yeah its all good! :D
The goal here is to have as much information as possible and to make it as accurate as possible.

Only thing is that this thread will eventually get buried as new threads are made :/
Maybe I"ll bump it everyday to keep it up for new people to see....
