ADVICE to advice givers

Good answer-- we may be overly safety-minded at times but eye safety is very important. Eye injuries, very hard to detect, can happen literally in the blink of an eye.
I was 7 Yrs old once and I admit to doing a lot of stoopid stuff which lucky for me did no harm. Its was Dad's deer rifles not lasers but almost same thing.
I had BB guns and all the safety lectures and then a 22 rifle but that 300 Savage had a lure. He should have kept them locked up.
it would be hard for most boys to resist taking a green to class. And he may have friends thay will surely 'play' with his laser.
anyway- your post was good- I will negate my neg when the system permits.--hak

Ditto that. ^^^ thank you for the mature, well formed response, lovellaser. I appreciate that you considered our advice instead of freaking out, whining and retaliating by throwing neg reps around like some have. I fully intend to negate my rep when the system allows.

I'd hate to see a kid waving around a 15mW 405 that was purchased from eBay, that looks really dim to the parent, but is really busy doing all kinds of retinal damage to their kid and friends without their awareness.

Those are just his baby eyes, they'll grow back :na:
