M140-445 TESTED laser diodes FS:

OK now we have tested M140-445 laser diodes for sale.
These diodes have been tested to 700ma on a calibrated
lab supply to be sure there are no dead ones.
You will be given the voltage and power out @ 700ma input,
with this info you can tell just how efficient your diode is ;)
They have not been tested for any other parameter.
They are $37.00.00 each plus shipping and PP fees.
This is not a GB they are in stock and ready for shipment.
They will be sent with a shorting jumper to keep them safe ;)
Pressed into an Aixiz module add $5.00
Pressed into an Aixiz module with silicone leads attached
add $7.00

Yeah, the shorting jumper is a good idea for shipment. I haven't lost any LD's to static yet, but there's always a first time. Killed alot of phr's in the past. :)

I'd like to pick up one or two of these....for the PP fees do I just figure 3% or the total and add it?
Thanks

I'm glad you brought up the subject of PP fees as it seems there are many
people that think they are 3% stright across the board.
I even just had one member yesterday calling me a scammer because his
figures didn't match mine !
can you emagine that being called a scammer over $3.00 on a $395.00 order
This is how it works out for me any way check your figures maby your
milege is different than mine.

recieved--------Fee
$10------------$.59
$15------------$.74
$24------------$1.00
$60------------$2.64
$110-----------$4.59
$210-----------$6.39

So check me and tell me if I'm wrong but dosn't is change depending on how
much money changes hands, it would seem to me that it goes from 5.9% to 3.04% in my case.

So to answer your question about if you should add it or what, I will PM you with that info, Thanks ;)

Peace All...

I am interested in trying holography with this diode running at 200ma.
Any way to test your stock for stability at low current? (cherry pick =p )

They're unstable around 200mA. I would run 250mA-300mA at the lowest for a 100% stable beam.

Sorry I do not cherry pick the diodes I only test them to be sure they are
not going to die @ 700ma and I will tell you what yours puts out @ 700ma.
but that is as far as I test them !

Why do you only want it to run at 200ma ? these diodes need at least 300ma
and 350-400 will make them more stable if your looking for less power use a
couple filters and turn down the optical output.
Have a good day ;)

Holography really requires single mode. Some people are trying to run these low enough to only have one emitter lasing.

How many laser diodes are in that projector? Just the 24 blue ones?

Don't bother, these things are multimode right at the threshold. It gets worse with higher current, but its never perfect - even on the treshold you already get a big stripe.

In stock and ready to ship "TESTED" A140-445 diodes Guaranteed not to be DOA :D
These diodes have been tested to 700ma on a calibrated lab power supply under
MIL-SPEC ESD procedures to assure that no weak or dead ones will be shipped ;)
Removed the way they should be by a skilled person who has been soldering for 40 years.
Get em now for only $50.00 each.
Please PM for more deatails.

Peace All...
