Yeah that sounds about right. I only went with the scanpro20 so that wasn't too bad, but the lasers are gonna kill. Even just the 500mW green I ordered from CNI was $1000. I'm avoiding getting quotes on a blue because I want to wait to have a heart attack until later. Hopefully they'll finish testing and tweaking the green and send it to me so I can at least have some green scanning.

a powerful blue is very hard to find.

200mw and 300mw youcan find bu above that..............

a 200mw is like £1000

but i know a man who can turn a 200mw blue into a 500mw blue

mmmm....500mw blue. that makes me drool. I'm actually taking a laser design course next year and one of the projects is to build a DPSS laser. I may use that as an excuse to build myself a high power blue. We will see how much money I have by that time though.
