803t vs, 6X

I have to find a correction factor. Has anyone tried a different setting on the laser check? When I set mine to 400nm (lowest possible) the readout increases by about 1/3, but this still seems to be on the low side >:( I purchased this unit new from Coherent in Nov. '07 and am going to contact them with this concearn. When I measure my 6x running at 200ma im getting 140mW, according to Hemlock he's running 160ma with 167mW peak. Its heating up quite nice and am keeping it on in short cycles, it has to be more than 140mW, I hope :-/

I thought that we had established that the diodes in the 6X and the diodes in the PHR-803t sleds had the identical Japanese "barcode" (the spotty brand) on the back.  If so, this would establish that they were from the same manufacturer and the same "model".

The same manufacturer, but not the same model.

Have a look at my comparison chart thread:

This comparison chart thread should be stickied, along with the red one.
