6x Blu-Ray burner for $229!?!

hehe sadly yes.  My monster is waaaay old.  I've got a p4 805D stock 2.66ghz, overclocked to 4.02Ghz.  I will be upgrading soon to a dual core though.  On another note, the burner works fine on my computer even when it's not overclocked.  However, the player portion does NOT.  It's not though because of the computer, but more precisely, the video card.  I've only got a radeo x1950 Pro

Is there any difference in power between one of these 6x Blu-Ray burners and 803-T sled?

My quad core is just chillin' by comparison at a modest 2.4GHz. If your single can take 4Ghz, what can mine do is what I'm asking?

I've never tested the 803 diode but I have published my graph on the 6x long ago.  As I recall, The 6x puts out more mW.  Trouble is, that 803 looks like a good deal for the price ..............

I think we will raise the dues for the 6x club now ;D
