The good sets can be obtained from CNI and Viasho if im not mistaken.. building the laser is a whole other challenge.

I think he misread and is looking at the pump power..

"The typical pump power is suggested to be less than 500mW, and the generated green output power could be about 60mW. "

CNI I thought is an expensive site???
about this crystal http://www.lasercentury.com/product.asp?id=422 I'll ask the customer service for the power output maybe it works with 2w diodes

That is a bonded crystal set. The chances of you finding a bonded crystal set that handles 2W of pump power are slim to none.

Besides, the datasheet shows that the output is 40-100mW. If the efficiency is 20% that puts your pump rage at 200-500mW, much more than that will destroy that tiny set.

thank you pontiacg5
I'll try crystals from CNI or I keep the rage at low power 200-500mw
Must be the crystals coated?
1W diode of 808nm what rage of 532nm light should output?

The sets come coated.. Your challenge will be to align them and keep
the heat flowing away from them..

My personal best has been 300mW of 532 from a decent bonded set.
If this is your first 532 attempt, I would stick with bonded sets for now
and worry about more power after you see the difficulty involved.

A link to my first DIY 532:

Here is a 7mm long 'micro' 532 I played around with.. Bonded sets are the easiest
by far..

bar set of green laser from dx around 20-30$ can be used with 1w diode if I use some heatsink?
you power up the diode at the 2n picture and the green comes out?

Check your PM's I responded to your PM... Or did you not receive it?

Given the questions you are asking, I would suggest the following..

-Buy 808-1064 rated goggles
-buy an LPM from LasersBee preferably the LB-I series which are more sensitive for DPSS work.
-buy a bunch of low cost green newish modules or pointers 532nm
-disect the 532 modules and learn how to align by trial and error
-buy a 1W 808, not surplus 808's, you need a guaranteed 808nm diode.
-make new mounts for the crystal sets from your pens, ie better heatsinking.
-repeat until the concept is burned into your brain
-buy better crystal sets and aim for your goal of a high(er) power DIY 532

This is not a project to take on if you have little patience and want immediate results.
It will take time and plenty of trial and error to get it right, and even then you may
still be pulling your hair out over the results.

thanks a lot
i saw your message
i already did this long time ago with a low price pointer i know how does it work
i'm not waiting immediate results. it's a hobby!
