This is an extremely beautiful and presice build! I am gelous of all the machining capabilities you guys have.

But how can you get 5W from one NUBM07E? I could hardly get 7.5W from two of them combined... Maybe this LD needs a very good heatsinking, otherwise it looses efficiency getting warm?

Are you planing to make more of these parts, especially copper housings for 12mm modules? Could you machine wider copper housings with 2 or 4 holes for 12mm modules side by side?

Well....As to the measured power output of the unit... I think Richard got a high efficiency LD, the Thor BE optics are superb....the BE adaptor is perfect...and the over all optic's are in optimal alignment !! And YES....a massive heat sink is really helpful !!

Everything just came together to deliver this power !

Planning on making more CU Module holders. ??? ..PM me....NOT cheap....Copper is a Royal Pain the Ass to work with !!....so...there will be a " PITA Surcharge ":eg::eg::eg::na::na::na:
