Actually, I'd tend to agree with DJNY - I do think these pics do give a good idea of the beam color difference. I know other folks' monitors may be calibrated wildly, but half way across the world here from him, speaking from someone who does have a few 445s and 473s, (including a 445 turned down to more reasonable levels) - I'd say the color difference displayed is certainly within the realm of accuracy.
445nm "better" than 473? No. Just different. Quite a bit different. I mean, I sure can tell the difference between my 594nm and 612nm HeNes. And my 488nm and 515nm ArIons. And this is a larger difference than those.
