hi guys!
i'm new in forum, i discovered it now on google...

i love lasershows and i work with them...
i wanna build a new projector, full color but cheaper than others...
i saw a lot of china made laser projectors with purple diode instead of blu diode... is possible to use it? it's purple!

is possible to mix violet & green to make a little better blue?
regards
Lorenzo

Do a search for white fusion kit on the forum here to see a full RGV setup. It makes all colors very well!

hi pontiac,

thank you for your answer, but i don't like this home made things... i prefer to use laser modules ;)

IS possible to use a BR instead a blue, but, ofcourse, being less visible than blue, you need more power for balance it correctly ..... you can acquire this joining 2 BR diodes with a PBS cube, before shoot it in the dichro, or using a more powerful diode (but also less cheaper)

Anyway, you need diode holders in "labby style" shape, i mean, heatsinked well, or that can be mounted in heatsinks ..... but i suppose you already know this ;)

Yes. But it won't be nearly as visible as true blue modules.

Yes. But you should have very little green in the mix, if not the green will just overpower the violet.

sorry... i mean that i want to build a laser projector, but using professional diodes (usually i use laser wave) - they also have a 405nm and i was thinking to build a RGP projector... i mean this ;)
