405nm and 532nm glasses

Are there any glasses that block both 405nm and 532nm while not putting a hole in my wallet? I'll be getting a 180mw+ bluray soon and i'd like to keep my eyes and my wallet safe :) if not, can anyone recommend me a good pair of 405nm shades that is less than $50?

EDIT: i found this pair, but are they reliable?

how would you guys rate these on a scale of 1 to 10 on the account of laser protection vs. being able to enjoy the beam :P
 





You can't enjoy the beam with laser glasses on, just take them off if you want to see the beam for a while, and put them back on when there is a chance of getting a reflection from something .

Also most laser glasses for green specifically, also protect from BR . not all though, you will be safe with the OEM glasses thats for sure  ;)

Check out the group buy for 405nm specific goggles, $40 shipped!

If you don't want to spend this, many goggles that block 532nm will also block 405nm fairly well.

I personally got the AL2 instead of AL3, and I like the AL2 quite a bit. OEM is a a great company, reliable products, you can't go wrong. You can do the math on whether you want the AL2 or AL3, there's a thread stickied in this section detailing the math od OD and by what percentage each OD level attenuates light. I personally won't be using anything over 500mW with these glasses, and OD2 will knock down 500mW to 5mW, which is the safe level for accidental exposures, ie anything coming through the glasses would be dim enough that your blink reflex should save you from permanent damage. But do the amth and evaluation yourself, based on the 5mW number that is industry standard.

Also, there is a discount code for LPF members on OEM purchases, I think it's still good at least. If you have any other questions, member Frothy Chimp is the man on OEM stuff as well, since he works there (or owns the place or something? Never quite got the whole story.)
 
You would, as those are intended for KW range lasers, but for lower powers, I'm not entirely sure. I learned an interesting trick from MarioMaster, if you have a Log button on your calculator, just do Log(Power of laser in mW/5), this will give you the OD needed for that power.

so really i'd only need ~2 OD for a 407mW laser?
