It was GREAT!!!!
cost: 135 USd
Appearance:
It was in a nice hobby box, even though i only askes for the parts soldered toegther
has both a momentary and switch on switch off switch
only con was that the module was sticking out of the front a little

Capabilities:
light red matches from 5 up to 1 foot instantly
lights black matches up to 12 feet away in a few seconds
pops all dark balloons, including green blue and black
pops black balloons up to 15 feet away
brilliant dot in night and day
beam visible in dusty conditions and looks incredible in smoke and flour
burns black plastics up to 6-7 feet away
cuts electric tape in seconds
slices right through trash bags
cut a hole into an egg with a black dot :
burns into normal uncolored wood (leaves black dot) at up to 2 feet
Cons: has shorter duty cycle due to lack of metal heat sinking(i just turn it off when it gets hot)

Batteries:
was delivered with 2 lithium 3.6 volt AA size
I ended up using 9 volt alkaline, because it works better

Service:
Justin gave me lots good answers to my questions
and he shipped it in less than 2 weeks
custom built to my specs
gave me extras like switches and hobby box for free
he will replace diode or give refund if it breaks within a month

excuse my blunt comment......but basicly they are selling the same pieces of crap we buy for half the price from DX bestofferbuy budgetgadgets o-like and focal price?

seriously...it looks like the same thing i can find on anychinese laser site....but for twice the price.

If he's happy with it, who cares who much it cost.

If you think it's too much, dont buy it.

You cant speak about the quality because you don't own it. For all you know the wires are solid f'ing gold inside. That laser is a DIY job, not from the china sites. The viasho lasers on there are only ~$600 for a 300mW, which is probably more like a 350mW easy if he is going by the ratings given by viasho. Go check how much they are sold for at opto and compare.


Sorry I don't mean to pick on you specifically, Mohrenberg, but that kind of stuff is happening too much lately.
