Yes, it's total crap.
We have specially designed crystals for our pen pointers and out of 1000's made, only 4-5 of them have output over 200mw and none above 250mw.
This is why we only offer up to +150mw as even the yield on those makes them fairly rare.
I suppose we could just lie like the places offering 200mw pen pointers, but we have a moral obligation to our customers to give them exactly what they pay for if not more.

Any place offering 200mw or more in a small pen pointer is blowing smoke up your tail pipe.

AAA (or even AA) batteries can't produce enough mAh to run anything over 150mW (532nm), for more then 2-3 minutes.
If it is a pen style, the most you can expect is 150mW. 95% of them don't even come close to that. (no matter what the ad claims)

for some reason im even in doubt it is 200mW+

EDIT: My guess would be 40-70mW If you are lucky, maybe, 100mW

Yeah... right...:pop:

Maybe the description is "right".

Not 532nm green, but 808nm IR pump diode!

LOL, this may give you a good 45/50mW of green .....

It might work for a few seconds before draining the battery, if you had a strong enough boost driver.
