well i built it, cost me about 1k so far.

no it shows that laser frame was made in 2002 :)

i only made the scanner this year
 
I love laser animations...especially the 3d looking ones. You did a very nice job with it.. :)

okay, that is pretty cool.

Is the projection stored inside the scanner, or did you hook it up to a pc?
Is it possible to create your own "animation"

I want one!!!
 
well most animation scanners are pc controlled, but not knowing andy's setup, i can't be sure. yes if it is pc controlled, you can make your own animations!

Are these lines existing "parallel" or "serial" (are they made one by one or by sth. like a grating)? I think one after the other, as it is a scanner, but one never knows..
