3 watt 445 vs 1 watt 520?

Hi,
1 W 520nm is the answer here i have quite a few 520's and all are brighter than any of my 450's or 445nm lasers. You will be amazed with a 1 w 520 with a driver set to 2.4A's .

Rich:)

nothing can really come close to brightness of green lasers, thats how our eyes works.

5 watts of 470nm NUBM07E looks about as bright, and it burns too, a 1w green looks bright, but as a burner I'm sure it's like..." Where's the beef. "
Also you spend less money for the 5 watt SKY BLUE laser than the 1 watt GREEN laser.

Keep in mind brighter to our eyes doesn't have anything to do with burning ability. That calculator doesn't take into account things like divergence and /or power density.

Hi,
As Pman and Red said 445nm and 450 are cheaper and put out larger amounts of Wattage for burning. 520nm 1 W is ok if your looking for a very visible beam, Yes a 5W to 7+W blue is sweet and you get more from your cash.

Pfttt when 470nm gets in the 7W+ range. Then I'll consider. :na:
