Re: NEW!! GREEN 520nm Laser & Blue Skyray 445nm Lasers FOR SALE!
I have a few skyway Zerolaser kits and they have all been 100% out of the box, every time. The tolerances are exceptional with reference to the heatsink to host fit as well. This is definitely a great bargain. If you are serious about building a quality torch with premium components at a high value price, ZeroLaser DELIVERS. All ZeroLaser 's drop in kits are also 100% compatible with DTR's drop in modules (ex. https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diodes/9mm-445nm) as well which is a big plus if you're not a super mechanically savvy person either. Simply solder the leads from the host to the module and you just made yourself a laser. Its really that easy with these kits.

If you just want the host, you could probably buy it for cheaper from on a flashlight website. I would basically just be doing nothing but throwing it in a box for ya with a markup for my costs.
Now if you are worried the diode won't fit the heat sink then you should know I have heat sinks that can fit a 9mm diode, a 5.6mm diode or a 12mm module.... and they are pretty efficient heat sinks too.

cmendoza,
DTR actually built that particular laser, but i know the diode is being run at approx. 150mA * 6.5V =.975W which means that the diode doesn't have that much power going through it. I Just tested it myself and it did not become even noticeably warm until about 90sec. so to be on the safe side i would set the duty cycle there. 90s on/30s off
