2x hosts for 6 bucks?!

the main problem I see is just a lack of space - i prefer hosts that have internal drivers or are already lasers (like some of the 5mw units) since they have plenty of space for you to fit the axiz module and diode driver

WOW, thank you!!!

That is IDENTICAL! I guess they do make a good host! :)

You're welcome. Old guys are still good for something, eh? ;) :D ;D :P

here is another host that i modified. it is super small, and works great.

it runs off of 1 Ultrafire 16340 (CR123) battery and a PHR-803T diode with a Dr. Lava FlexDrive

just had to add a tailcap clicky switch...

that is the exact same as jayrobs

i have used that host at least 8 times and it works great! actually my personal favorite!

its a tight fit but there is plenty of room for a flex drive or a rckstr driver

Not the exact same... pretty much the same exact size, but different brand.

My Pocket Mini host is made by UltraFire WF-602C. It says Cree on the side, and comes with a tail clicky already... a really nice smooth clicky at that!

BE CAREFUL on the DX pocketpal...
It has a very low quality switch. It won't even turn on half the time.

It is a very tight fit, and you have to use thin and bendable wires, or else they will get twisted and short out the driver and the LD.
I would not recomend it to beginners, but if you can pull it off, then it is quite rewarding.
