2 Week only SALE... 10pc LaserBee A for $139.99USD + S/H ea.

LaserBee 2W "A" arrived!
Excellent!
Well packaged, clear instructions, a little piece of art!
It exposed the faking output of several Chinese companies lasers:
(No names):
3W 445= 750mW real
2W 445= 1.3 W (much better)
1W 532= 300mW
5W 532 (yes I was an idiot)= 300 mW

Just one question, Jerry: May we stick a small piece of carton with black electrical tape below the sensor to protect even more those crossed wires?? I know that it seems that they have a protecting black membrane...I just want to avoid that a beam of a strong laser could impact that area....
A final question: How can we measure those lasers which don't have variable focus, so we can't get those 3-10mm dot but a fixed smaller one? May we damage the sensor?

Anyway, thanks...very satisfied with this LPM!! :)

Miguel

Hmmm.......

<<removed quote>>

I see that you condone hijacking another member's Sales Thread
to peddle your own stuff.

Can I assume that you are allowing me to do the same...

BTW...You can easily open your own sales thread if you have
not yet done so...

Excuse me?

FYI, I do not currently sell the Isis addons, and I do not have plans to in the future. I do not have anything to sell.
You are correct in saying it could be rude to sell my own things in your thread, but that's not what I did.
I can't be peddling my stuff in your thread when there's nothing to peddle.

I provided DIY user instructions on how to install datalogging in the LB-A, no matter what datalogging board it is.

Sorry if there was a misunderstanding here :undecided:

Its not here we go again, its Jerry forgot he was the one that mentioned ARG could be contacted for adding data logging to the LB and then getting upset with ARG for posting where he could be contacted at. IMO thats not peddling at all, thats providing a contact point for Jerry's suggestion

If Jerry didnt want people to contact ARG he wouldnt have said;

You can also use the Open Source ARG data logging project. Contact
ARG for details.

I also mention that ARG can also be contacted for his
version a data logging ad-on.

I didn't open this LaserBee Sales thread for ARG's
benefit...

He has his own sales and give away thread that I don't
advertise our LaserBee LPM products on...

It's called common courtesy....

I agree, that's why I didn't advertise sales (though I don't have any sales to advertise)

The post was edited by Ped, in the interest of full disclosure I had posted the tutorial I made on how to install data logging into the LB-A
(Which is relevant to all data loggers, not just my own)

Sidetracking here but I wanna ask.

THATS AN AWESOME AVATAR!

What's the output of the laser used in the pic?
Cos its totally RAD!

So bit confused is there any left i have a 3.7 laserbee USB but find that its a pain when you want to do a quick reading and have to have the notebook on to use it its very good but not nearly as fast to check a laser output by not having to start up the notebook etc this model would complete what i need

PS going by what you said i wouldn't need another thermopile, I could use the same one from the 3.7 watt USB one ......ie can i just buy the unit by itself assuming the special is still on ...regards
