i have here 2 New Never used LH Research Super Mite 230V AC to 12V@84A 1000W Power Supply's. They are certified By LH to be working. I like to offer them to LPF members. If you want one Pm your Offers. No Low-balls :tsk:. However i am more then willing to work with Trusted LPF Members on the Price. Paypal will be the only payment Method accepted not only for my protection but yours ;) How ever if you live close to me and wish to pick it up in person I will take cash. shipping and shipping insurance costs will be added later once i know ho and where i am shipping them to. Update 9-5-2012:
I was unable to find a datasheet for this unit.
I did however find out that this unit will fit in a Large Flat Rate Box witch is $15.45 to ship however it leaves very little room for stuffing to protect it so shipping insurance will be HIGHLY Recommended.

Iv made a call to LH about a data Sheet waiting to her back from them. If anyone here finds any info about this Unit plz Post it or Pm me it. In the mean time i will keep looking for any and all info i can pull up

The sellers item is an industrial grade PSU , the link you provided is for a home user / domestic computer.

Whilst on paper the current rating may be similar, If I had to pull 80a @ 12v for extended periods of time, I know which one I'd choose.

Also, does it mention anywhere whether its its switch mode or linear?

The model number may indicate its switch mode?
 
Ok so i got a call back from LH however there now known as Pioneer Magnetics. They no longer have the data sheet for the SM11-2. Il try my best to find any info. I asked them what the Price was for this kinda Power supply and they said New for 400$ however i know they are from 1995 so I am not going to ask for that much so all offers will be considered but please be fair.

I also asked them if the SM11-2 was switch mode or linear and Its a (SMPS) switch mode

Well I have ran a corsair psu at about 110% for 6 months 24/7 during the bitcoin ordeal.

What exactly do you mean by switching or linear?
If it was linear it would be wasting like 16,000 W lol,
Or were you talking about a post regulator mabye?

Oh I'm not saying it cant be done haha, I happen to have an 850w corsair psu running my gaming rig and it runs sweet as a nut.

I was talking about the post reg , imagine the weight of it if it was a transformer >_<

i wonder what the AC input current is when pumping out 84ADC!

Also its good to see something thats made in the USA that only does 230VAC :D:D:D:D
