1W 445nm Lasers starting at 180$ Shipped!

Alright kiyoukan, I like that black hosted laser very much, BUT I really want to see it in action PLEASE upload some videos or at least beam shots!! I'm going out of time and I want to get the best laser I can find FAST, please get me those shots or videos to prove the laser quality or even better, post a short video review of it! I'd really appreciate that..

Agreed ^^ Yeah, I know those things aren't cheap, just wondering if it can be pushed to 1.8A, why is it bad, - like is it the switch, wiring, or driver itself? VERY cool host though thats why I'm so interested!

some pics and videos to be added very soon.
Okay i did some looking up on this driver.
It should be able to go up to 2a. as that is the max of the chip.
I also checked the other components are rated up to 3a so they should be very stable.
i was told that one of them was only rated to 1.5 but i noticed my model numbers differ slightly and they are higher amperage parts.

Thats very good news, I'm glad to hear it. You said the 5 mode drivers very 100ma, do the constant on off drivers do this? And if they are meant for flashlights do they have good protection against voltage spikes, good heat sinking, and durable high efficiency parts? I'm just curious because I haven't seen these before. If you build one to use in your pictures and video it would be great if you set it to the different power levels to make sure it does well, do you have an LPM? Glad to be getting more info on these lasers! :thanks:

yes i have an lpm. (not 100% tuned.)
they vary the power by pulsing the light.
They work well if you search the forums they have been used by members for a while now.
The circuits do have stabilization caps for spikes.
more info soon to follow.

HI I'm new here and just wondering if anyone has received a laser from kiyuokan. Looks awesome and I hope to buy one. Since this would be my first laser (literally) I am a bit cautious thanks.

I would suggest to you, if this would be your first laser, to start at a lower power....nothing wrong with buying from Kiyoukan, he very reputable, but you should get to know how to handle yourself around a lower powered laser before moving up to a higher one that could do more damage in a second than you will be prepared to deal with(permanent eye damage...). If you do insist on getting a 1W 445nm laser as your first, definitely handle it with care and WEAR LASER SAFETY GOGGLES. With that said, this is a great hobby and you will become quickly addicted :D Welcome!

BMR do you have any lasers yet? They have cheap but still powerful red lasers that are great for learners that still want to burn... check BST

Pictures or video?

Has my laser shipped yet? It's been 26 days since I sent in the payment, and 10 since I last heard anything from you. Thank you.

i'm somewhat interested but would like to see night-time/dark beam shots and et cetra ... thanks . i think the black looks 'cooler' than the aluminum personally ...

If you're not going to ship it out, or even bother to respond. Please refund me.

i agree, bad style to not respond. If you recieve money then the first thing you do is to send the laser to him, and not hiding.

hope you get your laser or money back bro ;)

i talked with him too, but suddenly i couldn't reach him or get in contact with him.
later i decided it was waste of time and bought a laser from yobresal instead.
