18650 batteries

I just did this with my laptops battery. I got 6 great working 18650 batteries. I guess the circuit must have been bad because these batteries hold their charge. Plus they're sony brand

This gives me an idea :) My Fujitsu E8210 main battery died on me recently, I might be able to replace the cells and have it up and running again :)

how well did this work for those of you who tried this?
i need some 1860's but they are expensive batteries

26/6 would be 4,33 each battery i would gues..
something that bothers me is Capacity 5200mAh, Voltage:11.1v, Components:6 Cell
So those 6 cells only provide 5200mAH together and just 11,1V? or is there some circuit inside that restricts it to 5200mAH and 11,1V?

11.1v would be 2 sets of 3 batteries in series connected in parallel.

Capacity would be really low though.

Think about it this way:
3 2600mAh cells in series makes a 11.1V 2600mAh.
2 11.1V 2600mAh batteries paralleled is a 11.1V 5200mAh cell.

BTW, 2600mAh isn't low capacity.
