I just put togather a prh 803-t in a laserglow host it was a pre set 125 ma driver rckstr but without a lense it puts out 180-190 mw and after plastic 145 -150 is this normal

Hey John.... don't forget....

When measuring raw output without a lens... you are measuring all of the light
output from the LD...
As soon as you put a lens in front of that output you will only get a part
of that diverging laser beam through the lens... and that's not taking into account
that there is also some loss through the actual "clear" plastic or glass of the lens.

I got a 95mW from santa.
The aixis cant focus well so i used the head of my dud dilda and now it focus better, what power gain should i expect?



That color is not as i through it look more blue than i through.
Coulnt see beam w/ plastic lens last night! Might try tonight if its not too cold.
That bluray is my fav color atm!


Thats my first bluray. THaNKS Santa! > the only gift i had. Shipping took -48hours.
I think il ship it back to have a dilda ray & some laser stuff.
