I'm curious what the benefit is that will be getting the proceeds from this... Hope it's not "needy english blokes need lasers". I know that it's very easy to scam someone with a raffle. buy a laser for $100 and raffle it off for $5.00 a ticket and you make 2-5 times what the laser is worth. doing a raffle on the forum is fine as it's put together by a moderator and the funds are going to a place we all know of. I have a problem with a raffle off forum where no control of the proceeds is experienced. I can understand wanting to see some increase in traffic on your site. Heck I wanna see and increase in the reads on my reviews. But this is something that can truly be taken advantage of. I'm not accusing you of anything and for crying out loud please don't let me stop you. I just feel uncomfortable including myself in a raffle that the outcome and proceeds are unknown.
Kenom - and others - if it helps to ease your mind any, Andy's a good guy. I bought a ticket - that should be the first sign that it's not total BS. He announced his raffle idea months ago on LC. He's trying some advertising, IMO - he's got quite a few nice pointers he's made ! NOW he wants to MOVE THEM OUT !
