1 watt 447nm Laser Pointers from Dragonlasers Now Available

only the first batch been shipped. no word on anymore shipment? hate to order one only to wait like the arctic.

I think there's been a second batch shipped. I know that my 400mW wasn't in the first batch, but it shipped out Aug 12 from Changchun via China EMS.

The first batch was sent out July 30th. I would have to guess mine was in the second batch because it was shipped out August 2nd. So IDK when the proceeding batches where shipping out.

seriously considering one of these, just don't want to go through another arctic nightmare of waiting 4ever. thanks 4 answers.

that sucks man this happened to me when i ordered my whole series of computer and laser parts for my builds it was like 12 boxes lol that Fedex dude was probably P'Oed

Just received mine, it has burnt a hole in the Wickedlasers goggles' case in less than 5 seconds O_O

Can someone post some more specs? Beam diameter, beam shape at 20 ft, mRad, operating temp (say after 30 minutes), battery life, optics?

Well if this helps you out at all....My Beam diameter at aperture is 3.5mm and at 3 meters it's 10mm(beam diameter)

Shape: Bar or line.
Battery lasted almost 2 days of fiddling, never on for longer then 4 minutes for burning. Using Lithium photo cells

No optics besides a collimating lens.

Does anyone know if the Spartan has adequate IR filters? - because using this thing at close to a Watt with no IR filter is def dangerous.

Your thinking a DPPS Green, which uses a high Power IR beam modulated down to a 532nm Beam. The Spartan uses a straight 445nm Diode, thus is emits no IR, so no IR filter needed.

O Ok cool thanx. Well in that case i cant see that much UV being save either does it have a UV filter if that even exist without degrading the beam etc... ?

No, 445nm isn't UV.

It only emits 445nm blue. That's all there is in the beam. You will not need filters.
