Hey DTR, any idea if a one watt can do a wood burning trick like that or is just 1.5+w

500mW will burn wood just slower.

This one came as a hot kit from Jayrob. But I have done several also where I bought the host and set up the pill and the driver myself. On those I still got a heatsink from Jayrob.:beer:
