I'll make one soon, couldn't make one yesterday as I didn't have time I'm sorry about that

I can just hear the sounds of crickets in here.

How are things coming Gary? Hopefully all of the parts are satisfactory?

The parts are good, I'm just trying to find time to take the photos and finish the instructions. Also, some unrelated stuff came up last week that has been diverting my attention. I have two other new products I'm working on as well.

Wow, more products, that means ill have to spend more money, haha

I've been having lots of fun with my survival laser and thinking of the extended case upgrade, despite not having any 18... batteries (all my lasers and flashlights are the cr123) but the thought of running it for over an hour without a change (total of course, not constant running).. quite tempting.

Indeed the laser does slice a blue beam through the night sky. In the rain, or after a rain, it is like an infinitely long light saber.

I don't recommend trying to take a picture like this; I was very careful (knowing a few degree turn could fry my vision):

The next two are poor representations; one without flash (slower shutter) had a slight bit of movement, but is a more realistic view.

This is the fast shutter with flash, showing the very focused beam, but not displaying its brightness properly.

In light rain, unfocused shining on a tree across the road about 30 meters:

Compared to 100mW green (hitting a tree about 80meters away):

^^^Glad to see everything worked out. :) It's amazing to me how visible the beam is even when unfocused.

The new SL-VPB looks pretty sweet Gary!!! Has anyone done a review on it yet?

Haha thanks! No reviews yet, been busy getting the info up on the webstore and with all the logistical details. I think Lazeerer may do one though. :)
