Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180

Yea but in time it wears out and you have to do it again.

I can't speak from experience but I would think the spring would be a good fix if you didn't turn it great amounts all the time.

Once you get it focused, it takes little movement to go from zero to infinity.
As long as your careful getting it there I would think you'd be fine.
But it would be a bummer to finally scratch things.

LOL I would be way to nerves with some spring sitting against the glass. I would never want to touch the focus ring ever. and still would be nerves about it. but hey do what you want.

I got the impression it doesn't sit against the glass but rather on the metal surrounding the glass and the concern would be if someone turned and played with it enough it could get caught, bend and flip down onto the glass or some reasonable scenario.

But like I say, I haven't played with it... but if it only sits on the metal and being careful would be fine, I could live with it which I would think is the case.
I can't imagine them assuming you will sit a spring right on the glass... but maybe so for less delicate applications.

The end of the diode can protrudes into the aixiz module on mine. I'm not worried at all about damaging the window.

my non-laser-aware friends/acquaintances are all pretty impressed and dazzled by my 445 Yob.

Yobresal, I read somewhere here that you have one left, I am hopping there is more in stock now, or there will be soon, lets me know. I am ready to send you the money as soon as you have at least mine available, cooper heat sink, glass and coated, 1.2 Watt

Yobresal can you put the charger in both ways right side up and upside down? It fits both ways and I don't want to ruin it or anything

PM sent, But, I am curious, and everybody will know now. Does this come with the charger, and batteries? Maybe you have some by now?
And these normally come with the copper heatsink right? Not the aluminum, I like how the copper looks :D
