1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180

she's smokin hot ;)

I don't know... I mean she's nice looking but I bet she would be even better without all of the makeup and crap. I like real women. I don't need the fancy paint and whatnot.

Re: >1 watt 445nm Monster

The focus ring just makes it easier to rotate the lens. It's the lens that gives the beam.

Sorry for my ignorance but how far out do those types of focus rings hold a beam considered usable for burning etc?

I'm sure at some point it starts to be a give?

BTW.... sorry about my PM.. I was confused about the CR123A batteries.. was thinking those were the 3.0V non rechargables.

It does appear an extension tube would give more power to add another battery but I don't really want mine longer anyway unless the power was noticeably different.
I'm sure that would kill the duty cycle too if that happened.

Is the price still 180.00 as mentioned on the first post?... confused abit since I saw it go to 190.00 later on and don't know where the price is today for sure?

yobresal hi,
I received my laser today ...
it perfectly matches my expectations
beautiful, but I forgot to order a pair of glasses at the same time ... By cons when you build a 2watt  I'll buy it eyes closed. .. and thank you again. . .:topic: :thanks:

I've been playing with my nifty little pointer at work (lots of wide lanes & open sky & an enclosed "smoke shack") & most of the guys I work with can't stop playing with this. I bought 4 pairs of "shade 3" welding safety glasses ( they block out a ton of the blue light) for the outside operators to use. All of the guys keep bringing different stuff to burn & are counting down when they use the pointer to keep it under the duty cycle :)
Yobresal, this is an awesome "toy"!!! Thanks.

LOL, sounds like you work at a refinery. I just got done over at the Valero refinery. Glad you guys are enjoying it!

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180

I'm over at Chevron Richmond. I used to go to Valero a lot when I was a contractor (Delta Tech= chem cleaning). My father-in-law is one of the board operators @ Valero.
What do you do?

QC Weld inspection.

Cool, I saw that job in the movie "Silkwood", you are the guy with the felt pen that handle the white spots on the welding x-rays?

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers CHEAP $180

That is a tech who does that work. They only time I look at those is if the x-ray comes back and the weld is rejectable.
