Ooh thats horrible. Your mind is perverse my friend. I think of lasers as tools not weapons
I am going on a overland expedition and i didnt have time to build one ( parts didnt arrive in time from overseas) so i plan to take this excellent build with me camping and integrate it into my car bumper in a downward firing position at the ground and focus the beam. If by some chance i cant start a fire by hand, and its getting cold. I will use the laser to quick start a fire from kindlings. I plan to tie the rear switch to a switch in the dash and put something between the dash switch at the laser to shut it off in 30 seconds so it doesnt get left on by mistake longer than that and you have to re throw the switch.
It would be nice, but not enough time to actually power it from the dc 12v battery from the car directly for full power at a moments notice!
Got mine. Thanks dude. Build quality exxellent. Now to test her out. Will try to mount on car and waterproof it tommorrow. I see what you mean about lens. Where there is a will there is a way . Off to get charger for batteries and test her out
Ps. I shoukd have gotten goggles right away. You need goggles for this thing for sure.
That's it! I'm cancelling my deal for a 200mw greenie to save up for one of these yobresal. I'm only $95 away from sending you a PM Hope your still making them. Question though, I use my laser pointers for outdoor night time play, so do I still need the glasses? Is the beam itself too bright to look at in the night sky or are the glasses more for indoor use and burning? Thanks
Mostly for indoor use but you need to be careful outside at night as well. Your eyes are accepting more light at night and if you accidently hit a nearby surface the spot nay be too intense.
Long time lurker first time poster here, and I just had to say how awesome everything went. Paid at 2pm tuesday and it hit my hands at 2pm today. Even with the low charge batteries it put holes through my graded homework! Construction looks great, and now I'm going to have to save up for another one!
hey yobresal im looking to get a charger, i want to make sure it can charge the batteries you include plus get a couple more to use. are the batteries you include normal li-ion cr123a or are they the lifePO4 ones. ive noticed some sites say you cant use the charger for the 900mah batteries to charge the 750mah batteries but i think the difference in mah is cause the 750mah is lifepo4 . any ideas on this? what charger and batteries do ppl recommend for these. thanks people!
