0.47V From Tongue

Just had a random moment after testing some batteries and I put the meter on my tongue not expecting to get a reading but to my supprise I was getting 0.47 volts from my tongue!


Its not stable and jumps from 0.30 and 0.50V but even still. Whats this all about?
 





Heh you're probably just making a little battery as your spit reacts with the metal of the probes :P
 
I measure from .07 to .08 when i hold the DMM in both hands. It spikes when i use my thumbs

All I need is for the flexdrive to boost from .3v and I can use you to power my lazors.
 
use a 1 ohm resistor and a load or sometimes you can do it in parallel(like with a flex mod 1). I had about .4 volts too but sometimes it went over 1 volt. :o

But cutting the tongue would be much more fun! You could pronounce the third alien's name from The Simpsons.
 
Find 100 people with piercings in their tongue, connect them in series or paralel and you ahve a human battery to power a 1mW lasor!!!

It's like the matrix, only not on such a large scale, and they didn't power lasers, they powered robots ::)
