I can’t believe I didn’t notice this before now. The dummy battery wasn’t making contact with the case because of the wrapping. Took a razor to it, now just a matter of assembly 👍

So this must mean the case pin is doing its job.

I did end up cutting them down quite a bit. I spent an embarrassing amount of time debating soldering the leads or going straight to the driver 🤦🏻‍♂️
