I agree with others. Never send as friend/family. Seller of services can up the price if he wants but you need the protection if things do go south. I'm involved with other forums where it strictly forbidden to ask for the friend/family way because of the protection if you follow the rules...
I've been looking at some of the astronomy related buyers guides and they all recommend starting with binoculars. 10X50 seems to be a common recommendation as it does not require a tripod. I could see going with a bit more magnification as Rivem suggests though.
I'm following this discussion also. Always been interested. The high powered binocs would need to be mounted on a tripod, correct? Celestron Skymasters from $65 to $300 on Amazon, which one? Same ol story I guess, get the best you can afford?
Hi guys. Y'all are pretty much talking over my head but I'm hoping you can give me some advice. I have Win7 and am tempted to take the free upgrade to 10. I have 6gb of ram and plenty of hard drive. Pretty much all I do is internet and email. Out of habit I use the Opera browser. No high...
I had read the same thing so got flattop 18650 batteries for my Sanwu Spiker. When I put them in they were bouncing back and forth not making a connection. Had to buy those magnetic spacers to make the connection good. 8mm was about right. Should have gotten protected batteries for my Spiker.
Re: FEELER: XPL Lasers (RG:Y, RB:M, high-power 532s, etc)
Would this be for a limited time? I was really hoping to see the new host he will be offering.
Re: FEELER: XPL Lasers (RG:Y, RB:M, high-power 532s, etc)
Looks like there's a 10% discount on the site now. So an LPF discount might be 20-30%? Wouldn't argue with more. Thanks for the effort Sta. It sure would have been a major hassle for you or whoever did it. Despite what some have...
Regardless of where it's coming from it only goes through US customs if coming here. I don't think it would be any different than the many packages coming from China that pass customs with no problem. List as others said. Gift, under $100, no batteries and flashlight. My opinion only.
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
I've never been in on a GB here. I know we're waiting on the better hosts but as an example look at this 1500mw 520nm. Wholesale XPL-H532G1500 Real 1500mw high power green laser pointer - Alibaba.com
On my own I would pay $395 plus $21.59 shipping...
I agree. The pamphlet pics they include show a price of $350 plus shipping, even worse. Like you said, for less than a hundred might be worth a shot but not at that price.
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
I'd be in for one 532nm. Possibly a red and a violet, too. Any idea when they might have the new hosts ready? Maybe they can come up with a budget yellow. :)
