Re: FS: Crossfire 300mW
Good question. Simply put...not enough time to review stuff anymore and its about time to buy some more books.
I don't figure anyone will want to buy it on here, as it is a pricey unit, but I'm just throwing it out there in case an individual may be interested. But if...

Yeah, figured it would happen, so the page is saved on the desktop.

The level of professionalism is difficult to maintain in these circumstances, but I'll do my best.
The lack of knowledge is apparent in his post. First off, at .86 degrees and viewing five inches of the...
Re: Crossfire "Re-review" Part 1
Whether or not they should be available is one thing. One would assume that battery specialty stores would have every battery under the sun, but was not the case for me. Trust me, I did everything I could to find a battery while I was waiting for a week for the...
Re: Crossfire "Re-review" Part 1
Timelord, I don't know where you get the idea of loyalties to companies. I don't have time to argue. I bring the facts. Thats it. Go dream up some other thoughts about other users, just not me.
And again @ Timelord- As you can see, the review is not finished...
Re: Crossfire "Re-review" Part 1
Timelord, I bring only the facts here, so don't attack me. What you guys do with the facts is up to you. If you wish to advertise for LaserGlow or Optotronics off of this, go ahead. Just don't attack me for bringing the facts.
Rubberband, output power seems...
Marianne, don't worry about that. 800X600 is just fine.
Sure thing. Just let me know the details when you're ready.
Chickenfish, your review is posted.
Sure, submit anything you've got. I've got some Cores to giveaway, and the best chance of winning one is to submit your reviews. Just reading through the "Reviews" category here, many of you can copy and paste the review for submission.
Excellent idea on the resource link, btw. I'll see what I...
Hi guys,
Well, I have decided to allow users to post their own reviews on Lasers|Reviewed. This will allow the site to expand into a central location for laser reviews.

Dear Laser Enthusiasts,
With the public launch now online, I have received much feedback. I thank you for your input. It seems there is a common thread among the feedback received, enthusiasts desire a tougher review.
I now plan to "re-review" the products to an extremely tough and...
I'm sorry I don't have a severe bias against companies. I don't care what the company name is. If the products work well within specifications, I'm a customer (granted..to many other companies as well!) The same principle applies to the goggles. The only thing people may not like is the $20...
IMO, this is one of the best moves I've seen Wicked do. Don't be too quick to judge them. If these have a good OD rating for the 532nm, I'll probably buy some here for the laser lab. [wanting to start rant, short rant started] Too many kids with too many class IIIb lasers, safety is crucial...
Typically, increasing output on the directly injected red diodes leads to a quick death. These diodes are designed to output a certain power. (the rated power) Increasing the output (on reds) usually consists of increasing the voltage, thus the quick death. I'm not one to discourage...
This is not a new marketing scenario. This has been on Wicked's site for over a year with some controversy. While in fact they do cauterize wounds, in my opinion it should never be listed as a feature. Instead, it could be listed as a possible use, just as the other many uses for 532nm.
If you plan on doing more of those, I would suggest moving those gas cans out of your garage. Though...hmm..it would make a good video, just not a good financial situation. ;)
Nope. I'm heading down to CSU Chico's laser lab and having it tested along with a couple other different lasers. And a clone laser? I'll have to check into that claim. I'll be sure to report on that. So far, the controversy surrounds the RPL's.
That reasoning is absurd. A twisted way of...
It is a very nice laser, but had a small problem until I fixed it. I'll post it later.
Yeah, but I really don't blame them for not wanting to send the forum a review unit, SenKat. I think they are worried that LPF would take advantage of it, and report that the laser is awful and so on. I know I...
