So true... I refuse to pot mod anything over $50. Try uning some rechargable batteries for a boost in voltage.... but again.... that may break it. If you want to pot mod feel free and be sure to take pics! Just do not over do it by too much!

I am ordering one along with my cousin (BigNRich) and they are the DX 50mw pen laser pointer. Is there much difference between these and the true 50mw ones?

The look of it is nice, but 2mw is just not enough for me. I will stick with Daedal's group buy if he ever starts it up again.... :(

I am not so sure but this sounds like you are running out of a flashlight with no driver. I doubt you have a power meter but a minimag one will ONLY light matches that are painted black......
