Hey gizmo, I've had her OVER 900mW for a respectable amount of time during my testing with no trouble & my FLUKE laser thermometer barely showed a rise in the temperature of the Diode/ Driver/ Heatsink area. BTW, THANK YOU for YOUR KIND WORDS also. rob

Edit: Also if you are going to open up your laser I highly recommend lubricating the threads with a little WD-40 or something because the aluminum threads will jam up VERY easily if you get some aluminum dust in there when you try to put it back together. I hope ya don't mind me making a small...

I have some line lenses. They go right behind / in front of the lasers lens & project the required line. A tacked down string would be the CHEAPEST way to go though I think ???

If you can't find a piece of regular insulated wire, for what you're gonna be doing, a wire Bread Bag Twist tie will do in a pinch--------------:wave:
