Just make sure you have an adequate beam stop and lock the doors when you are powering up a laser that could hurt your potential unexpected companies eyes.

May have to use adhesive with aluminum and brass, they don't like solder unfortunately.

Can you have someone make you a template with the correct size and positioning with metal, then beam size would be less of an issue, saving you a lot of money? Just having to clean any residue that may collect in the holes.

If you care about the diameter of the beam more than power. Then G8 or 3 element.and yes that housing will fit. Not sure on the driver at the moment.
