    Does Ophir Work With LaserBee?

As I've sated in numerous E-Mail replies to you through our website... There is no easy way to attach an OPHIR head to an existing Non OPHIR head LaserBee LPM. We have sold limited editions of a 5W and 7W LaserBee with NOS OPHIR Heads when we had some Heads. These sold for $500-$700 at the time...

If you stop ripping off the pins of your Laser Diodes... you won't need to punch any babies... and possibly feel better....😉 Jerry

Would this as a first project be a bad idea?

Like the members above suggested... For your FIRST project get a red Laser Diode from DTR and also a driver. 80% of the possible Muphy's Law headaches will be solved and don't forget to get an appropriate pair of Laser Safety Goggles/Glasses. Jerry

Sounds too good to be true

Just looking at the video shows a very high powered IR laser beam to produce a thin narrow line to remove the rust. The stated 1000W Laser is probably what is used in the video but you are not going to get it for $134.00..... Maybe you can get the empty case.... Jerry

    Power of the laser?

Without a speedometer you can not know the speed of the car by wetting your finger and holding it out the window. Just like you need a Laser Power Meter to know the actual power of a Laser's beam. Jerry
