    Google Glass Fund Raising

I feel as though if I have the opportunity, why not take it? I know it's not at its prime, but the device itself is incredible. Actually, they are offering to ship it to you now. Thank you!

    How does my wiring look?

Right, I meant to connect the negative of the laser with the batteries. The drivers im using are Mohgasm linear drivers, I dont believe they have TTL inputs. I tried the Arduino forum but nobody replied. I have an OKAY understanding of electronics, I just get worried about the Arduino. Im new...

    How does my wiring look?

Here is what I believe I think you're talking about with the wiring. Let me know what you think. I'm not entirely sure that I wired the transistor right... Thank you! Matt

    How does my wiring look?

So the 2 batteries in series should be enough to drove the lasers, servos, and power the arduino, correct? By connecting the positive lead of the battery (in series) to the lasers and servos as well as the Vin pin, would that not be like powering the lasers and servos from the board? *im sorry...

    How does my wiring look?

Ahh okay. However, Im going to be driving 2 servos as well which requires thebsame batter setup. And I know that servos for sure need a separate power supply. Could I drive the 2 lasers and 2 servos from those 2 batteries in series without putting the positive lead into Vin? If not, im assuming...

    How does my wiring look?

If I connected the batteries to Vin, wouldnt that destroy the Arduino? I thought I needed a separate power source for the arduino. The two in series are for the lasers and the lone battery powers the Arduino. Could I keep the resistor instead of enabling the inboard pullup to make coding...

    How does my wiring look?

Dammit, sorry guys... Let me try again... I got a tip from someone on the Arduino forum, "You connected the 8.4V to Arduino Uno input pin, the Atmega 328 will gone in no time, and if you press the pushbutton, you will short the positive and negative of the 2 lipos in series, the battery will...

    How does my wiring look?

I know how to upload pictures but for some reason it didnt want to work off of my Microsoft Surface even though Ive done it before. Not only that, but photobucket seems to be acting strange as well. Anyway, I think I got it.... If anyone knows anything about Arduino, I could use some input on...

    How does my wiring look?

ello all, I dont post much, but when I do, its usually because I need help with something and dont want to risk ruining any of my components. Today, I would simply like to make sure my wiring makes sense. Im using two 445nm Laser Diodes, both using laser drivers and being driven at approx...

Something special ;) Awesome, thank you! I know, the drivers literally begin burning my fingers. Ill have them very well heatsunk(?) with short cycles, basically momentary.

    Will this work?

Hi all, I'd like to ask for help regarding a battery question. If I use 3 of these... Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 1300mAh ID: 258 - $12.00 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits Two in parallel and then connect those 2 with the third one in series, will that be...

How many batteries to power my project?

Hello everyone, I haven't posted much on here because work and school, which have also kept me from learning much about the Arduino. However, I'm doing my best to start a new project, of which I desperately need help with when it comes to the Arduino, coding, and adding power to get it...

    Tattoos anyone?

That is a beautiful tattoo. My sincerest condolences on your late wife. I have this tattoo to show my love for Iron Man and the fact that he inspired me to do what I love. It reads "Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk", which is what he said before testing out his Mark II armor.
