Are those lens caps glass and coated for 445nm? I would be worried about light reflecting back on the diode and such... If you want a star field laser get one of the 50mW/100mW greenies with them built in much simpler!

TJ was an asset to the forum. I will not vote to ban you either way, but I want TJ back. He did more for this forum than harm to the cry babies. The cry babies will always cry about some big mean jerk. TJ was a good guy.

My thought was with 5000 of them you could make some interesting interchangeable host designs. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but you could make a cool RPL style buckyball host or something!
