A lot of bad news from Italy

Hello. It seems that Italy is not the only one to be massacred. And the real (bad) news leak only thru the net. It is a miracle that the internet still works. But be assured, sooner or later they will take away this as well. They are taking away our freedom day after day, in small homeopathic doses. And they're getting used to horrors, with the same system. And when we are exhausted, we will no longer have the strength to rebel. The boiled frog principle, the Overton window system.
In Italy appears everywere hand-written signs with the wording: "everything will be fine" signs, but it won't be.
The world as we know it will soon disappear.
We must get used to the idea already from now, because willingly or unwillingly, once the emergency is over, things will no longer be the same as we left them.
The Pandemic is allowing the multinationals of the online shop to move huge capitals through the network and without passing any control. Almost all of our purchases were diverted to the dollar, turning currencies around the world into American greenbacks.
Amazon, to say the biggest, is downloading entire pieces of our conscience, as well as all the bank data, onto its servers, more than they already were.
We are selling ourselves, through the quality, quantity and type of purchases. Starting from facial recognition or fingerprints to unlock the phone, up to the state of health through watches and smartphones with FIT & SPORT applications.
All this vastness of data is elaborated by complex algorithms that allow a complete filing.
Just to ask questions at least consistent with the reality of the facts. Because truth is not an opinion, truth is a fact.

Words cannot express my sympathy for you personally and for Italy....and for all our Human suffering !!!
I have found a deep respect for your passion...in anything you focus your interest on !!! It is and has been an inspiration !!! I pray for you each day !!

As to the huge amount of conspiracy theories out there....well....I would NOT be surprised if any one of them of them is true..BUT....Human nature being what it is...Petty, Self centered and Full of Greed....I doubt that such organization could be orchestrated by any one government....BUT....then, ya never know !!!

These times "Test Our Mettle"...I see the best of Human Nature....and the Worst !! I read the Political Debates here on LPF....and I am " Drawn, Measured, and Found Wanting" for lack of landing on one side or the other !!!! I respect the opinions and sincerity of belief by many, many of our members.
Like many, I want to think that Humans are more Good than Bad...but do not want to be naive !!!! Unfortunately....with age comes an increased amount of suspicion !!
Schrodinger's Cat cannot be both Dead and Alive ??? Or maybe it CAN....If the Multi Universe theories are correct ???

In the end...I JUST WANT SOME TRUTH....but alas....That will very, very likely NEVER happen !! So it goes. I am leaning to find much, much greater value in enjoying the little things.....Perhaps this Pandemic Scourge is a " Reset " for us all. A terrible price to pay for sure !!!!!!....but then...." ...Like tears in the Rain " quote seems to sum it all up !!
